Reviews
Been here a few times, had good experience in every visit. The food quality and taste are very consistent.
Mango salad is one of my favourites. I like iy spicy. Satay as well the peanut sauce definitely praiseworthy. Garlic fish was crispy but I have had better garlic fish at other thai restaurants. Tom yam soup was good but little too sour.
The place serves many types of deserts including crepes. I tried sticky rice with mango, it was good.
I recommend this place for thai food lovers.
Cute little Thai fare in Fremont. It was a fast moving place with limited seating but was able to walk in on a Friday evening with no reservation and got seated almost immediately. Thai ice tea was very refreshing beverage to kickstart the meal. Ordered the spring rolls and roti with peanut sauce for appetizers. The spring mediocre and the Thai roti was a bit chewy, however the peanut sauce tasted really authentic. For entrees, ordered the Thai basil fried rice, pineapple fried rice with seafood and the wok egg plant. The pineapple fried rice had a nice spicy aftertaste and the eggplant was well roasted and the sauce was really good.
For desserts, the mango special crep with sticky rice and coconut was okayish and not very sweet. Overall a 3.8/5 for food, ambiance 4/5 and service 5/5
The waitresses were very cheerful and celebrated couple of birthdays while my group was dining.
Le Moose Cafe is a fantastic restaurant to visit if your family can't decide between crepes or Thai cuisine. While it sounds like a strange combo, the restaurant does a great job for both cuisines. The crepes are generous in size and I love the variety offered - they have standard crepes like chicken pesto and florentine, but also have more unique crepes such as Thai Green Curry crepes, Greek Crepes with grilled eggplant, and a "Beef on Fire" crepe that has grilled beef with Sriracha. There's also a good variety of dessert crepes that are sweet but not cloyingly so. The Thai food here is also really good and includes an impressive variety of appetizers (fried snacks, satay, and curry puffs!), curries, salads, soups, and fried rice. The only complaint I have about the restaurant is that the ventilation isn't great inside and the smell of the food cooking and the gas can be a bit overwhelming at times. The food and service is really good though and our family will likely continue visiting to get our crepe and Thai food fix here.
Curry Puffs:
This appetizer was delicious. They offer pickled cucumber and onions. The curry itself is not liquidity and has a mash potato texture. It would go well if they had some dipping sauce for it. They provide 5 pieces.
Tom Yum:
The soup was very underwhelming. The soup was extremely sour and I had better soup. A small size can feed 2 people. I would pass on the Tom Yum.
Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles):
The Noodles was delicious and spicy. I would come back for this entree.
Mango Paradise:
Delicious but overpriced. This dessert was the most expensive thing we ordered. It's basically mango sticky rice with whip cream and ice cream. The ice cream is vanilla flavor. The crepe gives it a sushi vibe.
Service:
Service was very inconsistent. Main dish came out fast. Dessert came out very slow. The time for them to grab the check and swipe the card was very long. To go box was fast.
Seating:
Indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of seats.
Parking:
Plenty of parking for shared plaza.
Food - this place has amazing food, the staff did customize the food as per our requirements and everything was done as per the sought requirements. Must try - their spring rolls and Shrimp dishes.
The staff is amazing and they offer prompt service. The place is located at Mowry avenue so it's not a big deal to locate it.
Ambience is fine, the best thing is how clean and neat the place is. Super kids friendly, their menu is something that can work for anyone.
Ample parking around - so no hassle of finding one. A must try Thai place in Fremont and East Bay.
Ordered spicy lamb with rice this time. Quick and tasty.

Forgot to take photos in the very beginning. Pretty cool and tasty Thai dish. Friendly and nice service, pretty quick as well.
Last time I've been here had to be at least 5 years ago since I moved to SJ. My daughter wanted a crepe and I wanted Thai food and this place came to mind. I couldn't believe the size portion of the quality food that we received. Service was super friendly and kept checking up on us and refilling our water. Food came out in a timely manner and definitely coming back!
I'd probably recommend this place if you're looking for quantity over quantity. I got the Baby Corn w/ Tofu to go.
Let me tell you, the shear weight was impressive, but I knew I would not even be close to eating it all. The vegetables were cooked perfectly in my opinion: soft but still crunchy. The Tofu was also firm and browned. However, it unfortunately tasted to me like any generic dish that you could get cheaper at the plethora of Chinese restaurants in the area for cheaper.
Perhaps the other dishes would be better.
